German forward Timo Werner has completed his return from Chelsea to RB Leipzig for a fee of around €20m plus add-ons according to Fabrizio Romano. Timo joined Chelsea two years ago for over €40m deal. Timo made 89 appearances, scoring 23 goals and 21 assists to his name.
While at Chelsea, Timo won the UEFA Champions League in 2021. He also won UEFA Super Cup and Club World the same year.

Today marks the end of my journey with Chelsea Football Club. I am incredibly grateful for the time I spent at this special club.
At this, the point I would like to express my appreciation for my teammates, the coaches & staff, and especially for you, the special supporters of Chelsea Football Club. I felt so much love and support throughout the last two years, and I will never forget how you guys stood behind me in good and in challenging times! We lifted trophies like the Champions League together, and I will always remember the song you wrote and chanted for me.
