Shehu Usman Abdullahi, 29, confirmed Facebook and Twitter page that his stint with the Omania Nicosia has ended. Shehu joined Omonia Nicosia in 2020 as a free agent from Bursaspor in Turkey. Since joining in 2020 he has made 68 appearances with one assist and no goal. Shehu won three trophies with the Cyprus club during his two years of stay. The Cypriot First Division in 2020-21, Cypriot Cup in 2021–22, and Cypriot Super Cup in 2021.
Shehu began his football career in the Nigeria professional league, having played For Plateau United and Kano Pillars before extending his stint to oversee.
The right-back made his debut with the Super Eagles on Jan 11, 2014, and has since played 38time in the senior team.
Shehu on his Facebook page bid his farewell to the club.

For decades titles were missing in Omonia, and I am glad in two years, we won three titles and restored the pedigree of the club.
This is not a goodbye message, but to say we will see in the future.
