Former Real Madrid, and Brazil legend Ronaldo Nazario in an interview with MARCA Sports that he would be hypocrite if he says he’s happy for Argentina who will play in the semi-final tomorrow against Croatia. Ronaldo stated although he’s happy for Messi his country is not to have reached this feat and the rivalry between Argentina and Brazil is huge enough to feel so.

“And I’m not that sure. Yeah, of course I will be happy for him (Messi), but you know we have a great rivalry between Brazil and Argentina, so I would be a hypocrite to say I will be happy for Argentina, it’s not true.

“But of course, I see football as a romantic. I will enjoy any champion.”

Brazil was knocked out of the World Cup by Croatians in the quarter-final round via a penalty shoot, the inability of Brazil not to go beyond that stage has resulted in Tite leaving his position as Brazil national team head coach and Neymar Brazil’sdoubtful of his future with the Selacao.
