Dias and Bernardo stunners fire City to victory at Villa Park.
The victory was Pep’s 150th Premier League success – and saw the Catalan become the quickest manager in Premier League history to achieve the notable landmark.
Pep has become only the fourth manager to reach such a milestone at one Club and he has achieved the honour in just his 204th league game at the City helm – yet another a staggering achievement in Guardiola’s storied Etihad career to date.
For context, it saw him overtake the record of Sir Alex Ferguson, who had previously held the record for the quickest number of 150 wins – and it took the former Manchester United manager 247 games to chalk up that total.
Altogether just four English managers have reached that tally with a single club, with Arsene Wenger at Arsenal and David Moyes, during his time in charge at Everton, also reaching the landmark.
