Manchester City Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zichenko reunites with former boss Mikel Arteta and former teammate Gabriel Jesus at Arsenal. The Ukrainian signed a deal until 2026 of around £30m, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Zinchenko joined City from Ufa FC in the Russian league in 2016. The 25-year-old was among players who canvassed for the peaceful restoration of his nation after the country was invaded by Russia months ago.
He has had a resplendent career under manager Pep Guardiola, who used him in the versatile role while at City. According to multiple reports, Zinchenko may be used often at the midfield by Arteta over left back where he mostly played with EPL Champions.
Since his debut for City, he has played 127 times for the English outfit, where he has won 10 trophies among his 4 Premier League titles.
