Despite Al Shabab sitting 3rd on the Saudi Arabia league table, Igalo has decided to quit the team for 4th place Al Hilal.

He’s Al Shabab top scoring this season, he has netted 12 times and is joint top scorer along with Talisca A. Who plays with Nassr. Both players have scored 12 goals and made 1 assist each. Odion igalo has scored 20 league goals for Al Shabab since arriving in 30 appearances.

The 32-year-old Nigeria striker joins rival Al hilal on Saturday for an undisclosed fee. The announcement was made on the club’s Twitter handle.

Igalo was signed to replace Bafetimba Gomis whose contract was terminated on January 24.

The report has suggested that Odion Igalo refusing to continue with Al Shabab is traced to the club’s rejection to let him represent his country at the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Cameroon which unfortunately we’re dumped out by Tunisia in the Knock out stages of round 16 after qualifying with 100%  winning record from the group stage.
