Wikki ended Lobi Stars’ unbeaten streak since the season began. Before tonight’s game, Lobi had won six games and had a draw. Mohammed Guda’s brace aided Wikki to their victory in Bauchi. Lobi attempted to salvage a point by pulling back, but it wasn’t enough for the Bauchi-based club. Regardless of the slim defeat, Lobi still maintained their position at the top of the log, while Wikki escaped relegation with a point. Wikki picked the first win since it parted ways with coach Dogo.
Bendel Insurance 1-0 Nasarawa
Bendel with the victory at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City means the Benin Gunners remain the only unbeaten club this season after 8 games.
