Mouths were left open on Sunday night when Benin Arsenal snatched all three points against former NPFL winner Akwa United at the Nest of Champions yesterday. Bendel Insurance scored twice in the first and maintained the scoreline until full time.
Insurance’s three points have lifted them to the top of the league.
It is the first game of the season of the 2022-23 abridged league and the only game, with the other nine postponed.
