Shooting Star 4-0 Heartland
The biggest game of the week surely was between Shooting Stars and Heartland FC. “The Oluloye Warriors” have now won their last three games since the departure of their manager Rasheed Balogun. The shooting was wallowing in the relegation zone after playing first six games into the season, here they are now on 15 points with a drive to a 6th position on the log, just a point behind the 5th place Enyimba. Kolawole Daniel opened the scoreline for Shooting in the 52nd minute of the second half, Taofeeq Malomo made it 2-0 in the 78th minute’s Ayo Adejubu and Nafie Raheem scored respectively to give the home team the full-time lead.
Rivers United 2-1 Dakkada.
The man of the moment, Isahq Kayode braced for the Rivers club against Dakadda FC. He has now taken his tally to 9 goals this season, the most by any player. Isahq scored 31 and 61 minutes of the game, scoring the latter via a spot-kick. Although Dakadda looked resilient, they responded with a goal just before halftime. They tie ended in favor of the home team.
Rivers maintain their top of the league with a 2 points gap ahead of Remo Star.
Dakadda has not been brilliant this season, they now sit in the 18th position after 10 games played.
Abia Warriors 3-0 Wikki Tourist.
Abia Warriors return to winning ways after losing previously to Plateau United. They grinded a resplendent results against their visitors Wikki Tourist by 3-0. Valentine Udoh had a brace for Abia Warriors and Godwin Obaje made it 3 for the Warriors.
A win has now moved The Warriors out from the relegation zone to a 14th spot.
Wikki Tourist with a game at hand relegated to 9th spot with 15 points secured.
Akwa United 1-1 Kwara United.
Promise Keepers were denied an opportunity to move to the CAF Confederation spot by Kwara United, who held them to a 1-1 draw at Godwill Akpabio’s Stadium in Uyo.
A point secured by Kwara United has now leveled them on point with the defending champions Akwa United who are on 15 points.
Stephen Jude’s penalty miss denied Kwara the opportunity to pick up their first away win of the season.
Enugu Rangers 0-1 Plateau United.
Scintillating Plateau United won at Nnewi Anambra state when they visited Rangers. Just 5 minutes into the game, Ibrahim Buhari fired “The tin City Side” to a 0-1 lead that held on until full time. It was one of the fairest games that have featured this season, as no card was issued in the whole 90 minutes played.
Plateau United now sits below Remo Stars on the 3rd spot with 18 points amassed. 4 points below the 1st spot team.
Enugu Rangers sits just below their visitors Plateau United in 4th place with 16 points.
Kano Pillars 0-0 Remo Star.
It was a no Victory no vanquish encounter between Kano Pillars and Remo Star at the Kaduna Ahmadu Bello way Stadium. The Resilient Remo Star squeezed out a point from Kano Pillars in the tie. Kayode Bankole has now stretched his clean sheet to 7 in 10 games after conceding just 6 goals in all 10 games.
Remo Stars pills up pressure on Rivers United, with just two points separating both teams. Both teams have not lost a match this season. A fascinating campaign we are witnessing from the newly promoted Remo Star.

Katsina United 1-0 Sunshine Stars
Former Kano Pillars striker Salisu Mustapha made the difference for his new club Katsina United, his only goal in the 39th minutes edged them over Sunshine to salvage all three points.
Despite the win, Katsina United is just a point above the relegation zone, Sunshine with a game at hand sits at 12th position.
Lobi Stars 1-1 Tornadoes
Lobi Stars still could not recuperate at home after they lost 3-0 away at Sunshine previously. They were held to a 1-1 draw, they squared the match at full time. 3 minutes into the second half, Shamsudeen Hashim netted for the visitors to set them into the lead. Ifeanyi Ogba rescued Lobi striking in the 56th minute.
Lobi are 13th on the log, Tornadoes still battling in the relegation zone.
Nasarawa 2-1 Enyimba
The Lafia Township stadium was lit up in the additional minutes of the game through a winning goal scored by Mohammed Manga. Enyimba Forward Victor Mbaoma scored for his club 13th minutes into the encounter, Tolu Oluwole responded in the 18th minutes to level up for his club.
Nasarawa moved themselves to a 10th spot, while Enyimba is now demoted to 5th place on the log.
Gombe 3-0 MFM
Yusuf Andulazeez braced for Gombe in this tie. The Gombe United forward scored at the 9th and 42nd minutes of the game respectively, he has now rolled his goal-scoring prowess to 6 goals this season.
