“The medical update on Monday 29 November concerns Neymar Jr, Marco Verratti, Mauro Icardi, Georginio Wijnaldum, Ander Herrera and Julian Draxler.
– The examinations carried out last night confirm that Neymar Jr suffered from a sprained left ankle with ligament damage. An unavailability of 6 to 8 weeks is expected. A new update will be made in 72 hours to clarify the diagnosis.
– Marco Verratti resumed training today.
– Mauro Icardi will resume training tomorrow.
– Georginio Wijnaldum, who is progressing well, will resume training on Thursday.
– Ander Herrera will resume training at the end of the week depending on progress.
– Julian Draxler continues his treatment at Ooredoo for an expected return to training in 2 to 3 weeks”
