Last night, Neymar and Brazil were knocked out of the World Cup by Croatia in the quarter-final blockbuster encounter. Neymar scored Brazil’s opening goal, which helped him tie Brazil legend Pelé’s record with his 77th international goal. Brazil was broken when Croatia got an equalizer and eventually Selecao was knocked out by Croatia.
With Tite stepping down as Brazil’s head coach, Neymar has said his future with Brazil is doubtful. Neymar who is currently 30 will be 34 years old when the next World Cup will be hosted.
“Honestly, I don’t know what’s going to happen. It’s hard to talk about it right now,” he said. “It would be too hasty to come here and say that this is it, but I can’t guarantee anything. I have to take some time to think about it. I’m not closing any doors to the Seleção, but I’m also not saying 100% that I want to be back.”
