Mohamed El-neny has been crucial for Arsenal this season, especially during the second phase of the league. The Egyptian made 17 appearances for Arsenal this season in all competitions, in which he had 2 assists.
El-neny, 29, joined Arsenal from Basel in 2016. He has since then made 147 appearances, scoring five goals and contributing 10 assists. He has also been capped for Egypt 93 times was and the first Egyptian to play for the Gunners.
Mohamed El-neny made his debut with Arsenal in a 2–1 win against Burnley in the FA Cup in January 2016 and was in the 2016/17 FA Cup-winning squad.
He was also part of the team that won the FA Community Shield in 2017 and 2020 and helped us reach the 2018/19 UEFA Europa League Final in Baku.
