Manchester United and Chelsea showed a perfect start to the season after the World Cup that just ended in Qatar. Both clubs recorded a transcendent victory at their respective turfs last night. It was an easy win for Erik ten Hag and his entourage following a 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, Graham Potters Chelsea at Stamford Bridge picked a massive three points from 2-0 over Bournemouth.

Marcus Rashford scored in the 19th minute for Manchester United, and in the 22nd minute, he assisted Anthony Martial with a goal. Three minutes to stoppage time, Fred hit the last goal for Manchester United.

Kai Havertz and Mason Mounts’s first-half strikes helped the Blues to earn an early lead of 2-0. Bournemouth came spirited in the second half, denying Chelsea opportunities to extend the lead beyond the score line of 2-0.

Manchester United with 30 points is a point adrift of Tottenham on the log, who have played 16 games while Chelsea in the 8th position shares 24 points with Brighton who sits in the 7th spot.
