Liverpool vs Leicester: Leicester scored all goals in the game, but ended up losing the encounter.

In the last fixture of the year 2022 for Liverpool and Leicester City, both team played last night at Anfield and settled for a 2-1 victory favouring Liverpool despite Leicester City players scoring all three goals. The three points moved Liverpool to sixth place and just a point below Manchester United who has a game tonight.

 

Dewsbury Hall in just four minutes into kick off scored a leading goal for Leicester City. Wout Faes blunders of own goal in the 38th and 44th minutes respectively cost Leicester the loss at Anfield.

 

Wilfred Ndidi captained the Leicester City side before Jamie Vardy was introduced in the 15th minute to replace injured Patson Daka. Ndidi was subbed off by Youri Tielemens in the 59th minute. Another Nigerian player Kelechi Iheanacho also participated in the game, replacing Ayoze Perez in the 71st minute. 

 

Leicester City with 17 points are in the 13th spot on the Premier League log.
