Ademola spent his loan spell last season with Fulham from RB Leipzig, he was loaned to an English counterpart center when Fulham FC relegated.

The 24-year-old striker began his career with Charlton Athletic in the second division of the English league in 2008, by 2017 he moved to Everton where he didn’t succeed, he made 36 league appearances getting the back of the net just once. RB Leipzig loaned him in 2018 and permanent the deal in 2019. He seems not to be convincing to the club and was loaned to Fulham, he made 34 appearances for Fulham last season, scoring only four times. He is currently on loan with Leicester City.

Although, Lookman has never played for the senior team of “Three Lions” which made it easier for Nigeria to convince him to switch allegiance. He only made an appearance for the under 19, 20, and 21 of England respectively.

His inclusion now means Nigeriia will have one of the best striking options in Africa with the already available players as:

Simon Moses (FC Nantes)
Victor Osimhen (Napoli)
Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester City)
Taiwo Awoniyi (Union Berlin)
Chidera Ejuke (CSKA Moscow)
Dennis Emmanuel (Watford)
Samuel Chukwueze (Villarreal)
Sadiq Umar(Almeria)
Peter Olayinka(Slavia Prague)
Henry Onyekuru(Olympiacos)
Paul Onuachu(Genk)
Odion Igalo(Al Hilal)
Ahmed Musa(Faith Karagumruk)
