Chelsea and Senegalese defender Koulibaly has revealed to men of the press that his club Chelsea wants to win the Premier League, and he looks forward to making history with the club. The 31-year-old defender joined Chelsea from Napoli during the summer for a fee of around €40m. Koulibaly since arriving at Chelsea has made 11 appearances for the club, of which 8 of which have been in the Premier League.
Koulibaly said the manager who wanted him at all costs, unfortunately, has left the club and his successor Graham Potter both play the same role of playing three defences, meanwhile, he has been playing in the four-man defensive line.
“We can win the Premier League this season, I want to make history”, tells Corriere.
“I arrive with a coach who wants me at all costs, and then he leaves. Both Tuchel & Potter play with 3 defences, I was used to a 4 with Napoli. But you never stop learning”.
Chelsea was pummelled to a 4-1 defeat this weekend at the Amex stadium by Brighton and has been dumbed out from the top4 spot. Chelsea aisthrough the round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.
