Silas Nwankwo began his career at Crown FC, where he played until July 2019.
He moved to Sunshine Star of Akure in the same year, he was not prolific enough and was released by Sunshine.
Silas moved to Nasarswa where his career was redefined.
He scored 19 league goals, the most by any player in the 2020/21 NPFL season. He piped Charles Asthimene of Akwa United, who they both tied on 19 goals. Silas got the award based on scoring more open play goals than Charles Asthimene.
His scoring goal prowess has invited European clubs for his signature.
This week, Silas made a move to Swedish side Mjlllby AIF.
Some football fans made some shocking revelations about the former Nasarawa United striker.

“So this Silas guy captained ESUT to victory at the West Africa University Game in 2015 at the age of 11, he also graduated with a degree in industrial Physic. A true child of prodigy”.
Another Twitter user by the name Odo Chika said:
“Congratulations Silas Nwankwo but 18….. I was a year older than him in ESUT industrial physics department. I know him very well. Although good luck, though”.

Silas signed a four years contract with the Swedish side Mjllby. He will look forward to continuing his goal-scoring prowess to elevate his new team who finished 9th on the log last season with 38 points secured. 21 points below the league winners Malmo FF.
