A six-man shortlist for the Premier League Player of the Month award for November has been published.
But the big surprise will be Mo Salah who has not been shortlisted.
Mohamed Salah has arguably been in the form of his life this season, but he has not been included in that shortlist.
In fairness, he only registered one goal and two assists in three Premier League games in November, quite a modest output by his own standards.
The Everton game where he scored a brace took place on December 1, so it was not taken into consideration for this vote.
The list features Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota, as well as Man City duo Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva, Watford’s Emmanuel Dennis and Aston Villa’s John McGinn.
Should Emmanuel Dennis win it, He will become the 5th Nigerian to win the award after Okocha, Odewingie, Ighalo, and Kelechi Iheanacho.
