Doma United CEO and Team Manager, Alhaji Sulaiman Umar Mai Doma have sent his appreciation to all players, coaching staff, companies, security personnel and fans of the club for their support and contribution towards helping the club achieve its first promotion to Nigeria’s top flight NPFL.
The CEO’s message of appreciation was conveyed by the media officer of the club, Abubakar Saleh.
Let me clear my throat to have a pitch sound and to use this golden opportunity to extend the message of our Boss/Manager and the sole proprietor of DOMA UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB, Alhaji Sulaiman Umar.
Foremost, The players of Doma United are at the forefront of our success in NPFL They make a lot of contributions, passing through sunny and rainy to actualize our dreams without humiliation or showing tiredness, Despite the insecurities and low socioeconomic challenges they adapt to the situation playing a nice and scoring to us.
To our team management; GM Sa’idu Umar Sulaiman, TA Bartholomew David, Technical crew, Medical personnel and Media team, We appreciate your courage to the players as well as the team whenever the need arises you always kept watching, monitoring and guiding how to win in every match we played.
Sincerely, the Gombe state government have made a lot, and I can say they are part of our victory, They gave us a room and made some gestures to play in Pantami stadium, I have appreciated the mutual coexistence with Gombe United football club, Also the Gombe State Sports Commission They liberate their cares and concern whenever we require the stadia and even the training ground we’re using. We remain grateful.
The security personnel team; Nigeria police force, Special hunters, Vigilante group and informers have done a well-done job, From the onset of our NNL first match in Pantami stadium we have never witnessed a single riot or breaking of the law; Thus we must thank almighty God for this bless and appreciate the efforts of this security personnel.
I must appreciate some private organizations and unions who find me worthy to award me different medals just to encourage me, I wholeheartedly felt this gesture because this is the first time in my history to receive such an award, especially from the union of a vulnerable and disabled person in Gombe State, I have recognized the presence of Nigeria Red Cross (NRC) you have been with us throughout the season Your medical first aids team is well appreciated.
There’s a person whose presence signifies a lot to me;
Murtala Sambo – NLO Coordinator North East. Yakubu P Sarma – FA Chairman Gombe, Auwalu Dan Gusau Ass. Secr. FA, Sada B Ahmad and his core members.
Frankly! I would say this is the first time in history that a private team from the North Eastern region start participating in minor leagues in our community, passed to the State League, Nationwide League One NLO, Nigeria National League NNL and now upgraded to the highest peak of the national league, the Nigeria Professional Football League.
In the end, I won’t recap my pen without extending my warmest appreciation to our fans/supporters, I always used to call them my friends, as I always said football is my passion So these fans are making me happy whenever I came across them, they sing a song Mai Doma, Mai Doma, Mai Doma. This inspired and impressed me unquestionably. My fans are my pride, the backbone of our popularity, I prayed you would be blessed in all your future endeavours. And I want to call your attention to reject any violence, riots, or breaking of law during our matches, As you haven’t participated in any such kind of misconduct before Please you should also hate it now, Our integrity is our goal.
In his long stride forward to encourage and resuscitate his newly promoted players, Mai Doma Alhaji Sulaiman Umar donates One Million Naira (1 m) to players of Doma United, Also he donates Three A Hundred Thousand Naira to players of DMD football club at the end of our closing remarks in out the last match in this season.
Thank you and meet us in NPFL in September.
