Arsenal and Fulham have both agreed on the deal for Bernd Leno. The 30-year-old goalkeeper has agreed terms on a three-year deal, with Fulham Football Club option to extend by a further 12 months. Leno was Arsenal’s first choice at the start of last season before he was replaced by Aaron Ramsdale from Sheffield United during the January transfer.
Leno joined Arsenal from Leverkusen in Germany in 2020 and has capped 125 times for Arsenal.
Speaking to FFCtv, Leno said: “It feels wonderful to finally be here. I can’t wait to join the team, to train and play for the team.
“I’m relieved that everything is done. I’m just happy to be here. It took a bit of time but in, the end we made it, and that’s the most important thing.”
Arsenal on their website thanked Leno and wished him a successful career with Fulham.
