Union Berlin are now 4th place on the log of Bundesliga with an Enthralling win yesterday against rival RB Leipzig. The match ended 2-1 in favour of the host.

Taiwo Awoniyi scored just six minutes into the game and at 13th minutes Christopher Nkumku the French player leave up to build hope for RB Leipzig.

Just at 57th minutes Baumgati Timo seal up a win for union Berlin with his goal.

As it stands now, Union Berlin have played 14 games, and have secured 23 points in them. They have won 6, draw 5 and lost 3.

It’s no longer news that Taiwo Awoniyi is currently the player with the most goals for Union Berlin in Bundesliga history.

The Nigerian has scored 9 Bundesliga goals, which implies only Robert Lewandoski (14) and Erling Haaland (10) has scored more.

The Nigerian who made a permanent move to Union Berlin from Liverpool, where he made no single appearances for over 5 years need no time to prove it worth.

NFF and Nigeria head Coach will surely be having much headache on whom to prefer as Victor Osimhens replacement with Dennis Emmanuel making waves at Watford as well. He has netted 6 EPL goals and 5 assists, which were enough to win him a nomination for the EPL player of the month award.
