Manchester United have now lost their last two games in the EPL, previously lost at Anfield and this afternoon to Arsenal. Ralf Rangstick benched three of the defenders that played against Liverpool Aaron Wan Bisaaka, Harry Maguire, Phil Jones for Varane, Victor Lindelof, and Alex Telles yet nothing seems to change.
It took Nuno Taveres just three minutes to register a goal for Arsenal, in the 28th minute Eddie Nketiah had his goal disallowed by VAR. Bukayo Saka doubled the lead for the Gunners from the spot-kick. Thirty-four minutes into the encounter, Ronaldo scored to make the score 2-1. Bruno Fernandes missed an opportunity to level for Manchester United after the Portuguese hit the woodwork from the spot-kick. Granit Xhaka’s thunderous shot was beyond David De Geas’s reach and became a goal. It ended 3-1 in favor of Arsenal at the Emirates.
Arsenal has now moved to the 4th spot on the EPL log, dumping Manchester to 6th place. With three matches to end the season, Arsenal is hopeful to make a top4 should their recent form continue.
