Zimbabwe despite finishing with 3 points was exited from this group.
Morocco and Gabon got their automatic ticket into round 16 from this group. Morocco finished with 7 points and Gabon on 5 points.
Comoros joined them to advance into the Round of 16 as one of the best 3rd place teams.
Black Stars of Ghana ended their campaign with just a point. They exited the group.
Nigeria topped this group winning all group stages games. They secured all 9 points from their games.
Egypt also made it to the round of 16 as a runner up to Nigeria with 6 points.
Sudan and Guinea Bissau each ended with a point and were exited from the group.
Ivory Coast topped this group with 7 points.
Equatorial Guinea finished as a runner-up with 6 points.
Sierra Leone and Algeria were axed from this group.
