The Egyptian joined Liverpool in 2016 from Roma in Italy for a fee closing of €35m. Salah has since then developed himself as one of the greatest footballers in the world. Salah has been pivotal for Liverpool and has been described as one of the best Africans to have oiled the Premier League. Salah extended his contract yesterday, making him top the list of Liverpool highest earners.
Thomas Partey, £200K weekly.
Party joined Arsenal in 2020 from Athletico Madrid in a club record deal of around €50m. Partey becomes the most expensive Ghanian player after making the switch. With Aubameyang’s deal determined on mutual consent last season, Partey becomes Arsenal’s most earned player. Arsenal had some streak of losses in his absence due to an injury the Ghanaian sustained in the course of helping Arsenal secure a top-four spot.
Wilfred Zaha £130k weekly.
The Ivorian international leads on the log of Crystal Palace’s most earned player. The 28-year-old forward has been crucial for Palace since arriving from Manchester United. The Ivorian was Palace’s top scorer last season with 15 goals and 2 assists and has scored a combined 83 goals and 73 assists in Palace’s colours.
